Bethany Christian. On Thursday the girls will host West Noble. Last year the junior varsity and freshman teams completed their seasons undefeated and girls from these teams will compliment the nine girls who will return to the varsity from last year.

Wawasee s girls, who last year were sectional champs and regional runner-ups. have a positive attitude toward the upcoming season, according to Brannock, and are ready to play. There are eight lettermen on the team, which at present is made of six seniors, two juniors and four sophomores. Six of the lettermen returning to the team are seniors, they are: Grace Stichter, who is a three letter winner, Tona Sellers. Karyl Charlton, Cheryl and Carol Walker, and Maude Packer. Also lettermen for Wawasee are two junior team members, Dee Stump and Marcia Sorensen. Coach Brannock says the team is “big and quick** -and encourages area basketball fans
