Each student is required to make one project, which must have a moving part. They were puzzled when the well-fed villagers said there was no food, so they devised a plan. They announced that they would>ed the people by making soup from a single stone. M BUILDERS CLUB BOARD OF DIRECTORS — The Builders Club at Syracuse Junior High has again organized for the IM2-IM3 school year. The chib is governed by a ten member board of directors. ' The club is sponsored by the Wawasee Kiwanis Club and is a service organization. The club lists service for the school and community. leadership development, character development and loyalty and working together for fun and enjoyment as its goals. Trojan teams finish season
The Milford Junior High football and volleyball teams wrapped up their seasons by scoring victories for their respective Trojan squads. The seventh and eighth grade football team won a “big game" on Thursday, Oct. 14, against Pierceton with a final score of 8-6.. Harvey Melendez scored early on an 85-yard run. The defense also played effectively giving the Trojans a final record of four wins and one loss. The Trojan volleyball teams walked away with two victories on Wednesday, Oct. 20, over North Webster. The seventh graders won in two straight games with scores of 1511, 154. Darla Moore led in serves and was followed by Kim Newcomer, Shelly Bushong,
Amanda Anderson and Steff Jamiel. Darla also led in hits followed by Steff, Shelly, Connie Rice and Diane Coppes. The eighth graders won in three games with scores of 15-4, 11-15 and 15-5, Maggie Edwards and Julie Daiser led in serving while Traci Ostendorf led in hits, followed by Karen Benning. Coaches of all teams report good efforts and fine team spirit for the final games. No holes Fill nail holes before painting or wall papering by mixing equal parts of cornstarch and salt. Add water until it is the consistency of putty.
