Using the new electronic scoring system for the first time, the Wawasee swim club won the first meet of the fall season against North Manchester 346 to 240 last week. Athlete of the Week
This week’s Mail-Journal “Athlete of the Week” is senior Grace Stichter. Miss Stichter has been a standout performer in cross-country, track and basketball for the last three years at Wawasee High School. She currently holds the course record in cross-country at the high school, and will be an important key for coach Dale Brannock’s hardwood team come winter. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stichter, r 2 Milford.
Season basketball tickets on sale
Athletic Director Hal Traviolia has announced season tickets for the 1982-83 Wawasee basketball season will go on sale November 1 in the athletic office at the high school. Seats may be reserved for an extra $2. The reserved section will be located in the top eight row (D-K) on the lower deck behind the scorers’ bench and southwest lower deck. The two rows behind the team and scorers’ bench will be reserved for junior varsity and freshman players and their coaches. Adults who want to reserve seats should notify the athletic office anytime before the first home game on November 19.

Season tickets will also be on sale during the evening of the first home game and students may purchase their tickets from the athletic secretary. Traviolia encourages junior high and elementary students to purchase season tickets to save money. Season ticket prices are as follows: Adults-$lB, K-12-812, reserved seats- $2, pre-school in reserved section sl. Session ticket prices are as follows: $2.25 per session for adults and children not accompanied by a parent, $1.50 for K-8, and pre-schoolers free if with parents.
