Eunice A. Harper Waved To Area From Mtmeia Eunice A. Harper, 76, r 1 Leesburg, died September 23 at 5 a.m. in Whitley County Hospital. She was born December 11. 1905, in Hartford City, and had lived in the area for 10 years, coming from Muncie. On April 12, 1924, she married John Eugene Harper, who survives. She was a homemaker. Survivors, with her husband, are one daughter, Mrs. Charles (Francis May) Smith, Sandusky, Ohio; seven grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Pearl Smith, Muncie. One son preceded her in death. Graveside services were held Saturday, Sept. 25, at 10:30 am. at the Mock Addition of North Webster cemetery. Rev. Chester Reed officiated at the graveside service and Harris Funeral Home, Sryacuse, was in charge of arrangements. Mildred Fuller Descendent Os forty County Residents Mrs. Mildred Fuller, 69, of Suburban Acres, r 9 Warsaw, sister of George Van Curen, Leesburg, died at her residence Thursday afternoon, Sept. 23. Mrs. Fuller, a decendant of one of the earliest Kosciusko County family residents, was born on July 3.1912, in Warsaw to Homer and Mabie (Orr) Van Curen. She

is the great-granddaughter of Benjamin Van Cdren who settled in Warsaw in 1840. On November 6, 1964, she married Clarence Fuller, who preceded her in death on August 11,1977. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of LatterDay Saints, Warsaw. Additional survivors include one son, Daniel Shroyer, Florida; one daughter, Mrs. Nelson (Helen Louise, (“Susie”) Sutton, Warsaw; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Cooper and Mrs. Carl (Louise) Bowser, both of Pierceton; one additional brother, Kenneth Van Curen, Warsaw; right grandchildren. One stepdaughter and one brother preceded her in death. Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 25, at 1:30p.m. in the Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. Bishop Arthur L. Haas, officiated and burial was in Oakwood cemetery. Mandell D. White J Retired Pressmen Z Mendell D White, 68. 719 N. Seventh St., Goshen, father of Charles and Thomas both of Syracuse, died at 8:26 p.m. Monday. Sept. 27, in Goshen Hospital where he was admitted earlier that day. White had been ill with a heart problem since May 1980 He was born on December 15, 1913, in Auburn. Ky.. and lived in Goshen for 24 years moving from Dayton. Ohio. He was married on June 6, 1931, to Mattie Penrod

who died in May 1958. On October 3,1958, he married Violet Turley in Syracuse. She survives. White was a retired pressman with Goshen Rubber Co., and a member of Goshen Eagles Lodge. Additional survivors include two other sons, Mendell J., Madisonville, Ky., and Gregory D., Dayton; three daughters, Delores Szucs, Dayton, Mrs. George (Janice) Brooks, Centerville, Ohio, and Mrs. Steven (Kay) Rink, Goshen; 24 grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. George (Evelyn) Maxwell and Ruth Eskew, both of Auburn. Two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today (Wednesday) at the Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen. Sylvia Rowe Native Os EHchart Mrs Sylvia E. Rowe, 84. 57835 S. Seventh St., Elkhart, mother of Clifford Rowe, Syracuse, died at 10:18 am., Wednesday, Sept. 22, in Elkhart Hospital. She was born on February 28, 1898, in Elkhart and married Marion Russell Rowe, in 1919 at Michigan City. He died on July 20,1962 Additional survivors include four other sons. Wayne, Elkhart, Delbert and Jack, New Port Rickey, Fla., and Robert Bryan. Stone Lake; four daughters. (Dugan) Wolfe, 86, West Etna Road, r 6 Columbia City, brother of Harry Wolfe, North Webster, died at 8:04 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25. in Veteran’s Administration Medical Center, Fort Wayne. He had fallen at his home Saturday morning and was taken to the hospital. He was bom on November 21. 1895. in Whitley County to Lewis Fredrick and Thilena (Johnston) Wolfe. A retired truck-transport driver, Wolfe was a World War I veteran, having served as President Hoover’s chauffeur. He was a member of the Churubusco American Legion Post. Additional survivors include three sons. Lowell. Sturgis. Mich., Ronald L., Albany. Ga., Nolan K., Fort Wayne; one daughter, Mrs. Gay W. At 1 :S3 a m. on September 24, the EMS checked Patricia Millard, 34, r 1 box 279, Syracuse, for broken bones, bruises or abrasions, after she was hit by a car door, none were found. At 4:50 p.m., on September 25, the EMS was called to r 5, Kern Road, Syracuse, where Wendi Wiles, 9-year old daughter of Deb Wiles. 200 East Chicago Street, Syracuse, was injured in a fall from a bed. They transported her to Goshen Hospital. At 6:10 p.m. on September 25, the EMS was called to the scene of a personal injury accident at Pickwick Road, Syracuse. Don Martin, 26, 101 North Martin, Ligonier, and Marvin Hull, 30, Puncheon, Ky., were both transported to Goshen Hospital to be treated for their injuries. On September 25, at 9:47 p.m., the EMS transported Dick Isbell, 66, 307 East John Street, Syracuse, to Goshen Hospital, after he became ill at his home.
