Webster fills it with news of our society and its activities. We have active, sustaining and life memberships ranging from a minimal to a larger amount. Don't forget also that "our missing links" is published quarterly by the Genealogy Section and is 24 pages, packed with county history and genealogy Presently, each issue centers on a particular township in the county, although other information such as listings of marriages from courthouse records are printed. If your roots are in this county, you would enjoy it even if you are not a genealogist For payment of membership dues and subscribing, write to the box listed above. *Do you want to contribute something for display in the museum, or do you want to name the society in your will? Soon an acquisitions chairman will be announced. In the meantime, drop us a line or contact any member. Let’s all make up for lost time! The society picnic on June 20 in our Kosciusko County Tippecanoe Rest Park west of Warsaw was fun. We would like to know who was the kind person who mowed the grass early this season. President Waldo Adams and Mrs. Adams spent much time just before the picnic readying the park. It's a delightful place for a picnic for anyone, and it’s on the Tippecanoe River on Old Road 30 West. Our museum in the old Pound Grocery building at Oswego, west of Leesburg, will be open on Sundays until Labor Day, from 1 to 4 p.m., open by appointment during the week. Come and see! There will be no July genealogy meeting. Instead a trip or trips to the Fort Wayne-Allen County Genealogical Library are planned. This is an excellent time for the beginner or someone who has never been there to go with the "experts" and learn how to use this fabulous library. It’s almost a promise that you won’t leave there empty handed Contact a member of the Genealogy Section, drop a line, or call me. The third week of July is the time. 81.
