| LOUISA'S LETTER
Dear Louisa, What do you do when you have a good husband but he has some little habits that irritate you? He doesn't like criticism and still it embarrasses me when he talks with his mouth full of food. He is nice looking and has good manners with the exception of this. Should 1 say anything to him about this? Wife-NJ. Answer: A man can take criticism from anyone else better than he can from his wife but this is a habit that he should correct for his own good as people judge others, to a great extent, on good table manners and other courteous behavior. First impressions can be important in many ways--perhaps in getting a coveted job or in being invited to places one w ould like to visit or in meeting with congenial people. You might let your husband read this letter. Louisa.

Dear Louisa. We have three children and the only one who behaves badly is the middle one. The three were born very close together about a year apart. How do you account for the differences in their dispositions? D.L.-Missouri Answer: Well, the oldest child is recognized as the first child with the perogatives which go with that title and the young one gets a great deal of petting and attention by being the baby of the family. The middle child is an inbetween and the only way he can get his share of attention is by misbehaving. Parents should be very careful in seeing that each child gets his rightful share of love and attention. Louisa Addreta: LBex 532, Orangebwrg, S C. 29115
