Syracuse Youth League is popular sumpier event
Syracuse Youth League, baseball and softball teams for area youngsters, draws the interest of girls as well as boys. Girls’ softball is becoming a popular summer activity and many young ladies get an early start by playing on T-ball teams Teams for this year have not been put in final order and youngsters at Syracuse interested in playing can notify any youth league member of their desire to sign up. Early in June teams will begin practice and games will begin soon after. Both girls and boys have a travel league team, T-ball teams for both and minor leagues.
Girls’ minor league teams and some Tball teams play their games at the Vega field and other games are held at the Rotary Field near Saint Andrew's Church
