PAPER MAGIC — The art students in Josette Abrams' class at North Webster Elementary and Junior High Schools created these works of art out of paper and cloth. Mrs. Abrams teaches grades first through eighth at the school and students will display their work at the Art and Craft Show next Monday at the school gy m. Artists standing in the front row are Timothy Whiteman and Stacey Coy, who both created paper mache birds. Students standing in the back row are; Jerlyn Sponseller and Wendy Lung, who made “balloon people"; Amy Barton and t hrista Slncroft, who made puppet people; and Belinda W hilridge who used batik to create her sun on cloth.

Upcoming at Milford Elementary The following events will be happening at the Milford Elementary School: Thursday, May 20 — The school will present two performances of the fourth grade play, "Peter Pan,” (incorrectly listed as Robin Hood in last week's schedule) on this day at 1:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. with parents being invited to either performance. Thursday, May 20 — The second graders will be going to Emery Stookey's dairy farm near Leesburg and then to Oxbow Park for a nature hike sponsored by the Kosciusko County Farm Bureau Coop Friday, May 21 — Fourth graders will tour old Fort Wayne and visit Johnny Appleseed's grave in the city
Awards program at Wawasee Friday Wawasee High School will hold its Hth annual Honors Awards Program on Friday, May 21. The program, which will be held in the physical education area, will begin at 1:30 p.m. and concludeat3p.m. All parents of graduating members of the Class of 1982 are urged to attend impossible. Other patrons of the school community are also welcome.

Science degree from the school of management. Purdue University, on Sunday. May 16. Miss Pittman graduated with highest distinction Arthur G Hansen, president of the university, presided over the 130th commencement in the Edward C Elliott Hall of Music on the West Lafayette campus She has accepted a position as a financial and accounting trainee with the Clorox Company, Oakland. FUTURE FASHION DESIGNERS — These outfits, made by three eighth grade North Webster Junior High students of Mary Jane Thompson’s home economic class, will be displayed at the school’s Art and Craft Show on May 24, 6:30-8:30, at the school gymnasium. The show is free and will include many displays of art and craft items as well as industrial art projects and those from the Home Economics department.
