Milford, died at 1:53 a m Sunday, April 11, in his home following a lengthy ilfness He in North Webster on October 20, 1911, to Emil J « and Elva (Stocker) Kuhn. On August 20, 1949. he married Maxine Gillespie in Silver Lake She survives. Kuhn was a member of the United Methodist Church, Leesburg, and a retired farmer and carpenter He had been a board member of the Soil and Water Conservation District for 15 years and was on the board of directors of Cardinal Center Additional- survivors include four other sons, Bruce F. Greeley, Colo , Paul J . Kim R and Chad J , all of Warsaw; two daughters, Mrs Ralph < Deanna) Myers. Warsaw, Mrs Keith (Pamela) Harrison. In dianapolis; his mother, Mrs Allen (Elva) Gordy. Kissimmee. Rookstool, 63. 713 South Fourth St., Syracuse, was pronounced dead at 7:45 p.m Thursday. April 8, by the Syracuse Emergency Medical Service technicians who had been called to the Elmer Larkin residence. Wawasee Heights, where Rookstool had been visiting. He was bom in Elkhart Countyon July 14. 1918. and resided in the Syracuse-Goshen area all his life. His parents, John W and Freda (Suita) Rookstool, both survive and reside in Elkhart On October 29. 1941. he married Belva Roach, who also survives Rookstool was a truck driver for Trailer Express, a veteran of World War 11. a member of the Millersburg American Legion and a member of the DAV at Goshen Surviving in addition to his parents and his wife are three sisters. Mrs Hay is a former resident of Goshen, spending her summers at Tippecanoe Lake and wintering in Florida until 24 years ago when she moved to Florida permanently. She was a former teacher at Goshen High School, in the Warsaw Community School system and the Council Bluffs lowa School system and had served on the Goshen School Board She was a member of the First Congregational Church, Lake Worth. Fla , a past member and president of the Women's Club. Goshen, served with the Goshen Hospital Auxiliary; past member of the Bav View Club. Goshen, and Psi lota Xi Sorority In addition to her husband, other survivors include two sons. Richard L. Hay, Berkeley, Calif. and Dr Robert E Hay. Nampa. 1907, to Herbert and Annie (Lebo) Straw, in Winamac. On December 18, 1925, he married the former Grace Kistler in Winamac. She survives. In 1971 he retired from the C. O. Railroad after 47 years. Straw was a member of the Eagles Lodge, Culver and a member of the Brotherhood of Maintenance Way Employees. In addition to his wife and daughter, other survivors include two other daughters, Mrs. Carol Minarik, Culver and Mrs. Sandra Herner, Greenwood; eight grandchildren; three brothers. A 42-year-dld man with head injuries was transported to Goshen Hospital on Friday. April 9. He was involved in a traffic accident. On Friday, April 10, the ambulance transported a 87-year-old man from Miller's Merry Manor to Goshen Hospital with possible heart problems. Syracuse EMS - The Syracuse Emergency Medical Service responded to the following calls this past week: On April 7 at 9:05 a m. they were called to the stoplight area, uptown Syracuse.
