Death claims Thurman Rinker, North Webster businessman
Thurman E. Rinker, 65, P.O. Box 324 North Webster; died Saturday. March 13, at 8:07 a m. in Kosciusko Community Hospital. Death was due to complications following a stroke on January 26. He was bom in Anderson on April 23, 1916, to C. A E. and Vieune (Prigg) Rinkw. On September 5, 1937, he married Alice Watson She survives He moved to the North Webster area in 1966 from Anderson and was owner and operater of John Neal Diet From A Gunshot Wound Graveside services for John Neal. 24. On November 26. 1916, in Wakarusa she married Irvin Weldy He died on December 13.1964. Mrs Weldy had been a sewing machine operator for numerous companies Survivors include six daughters. He had been a patient one day but had been ill for three years. Hapner was born on January 15, 1899, in Benton Township. On January 28. 1931, he married the former Stella Hull in Angola. She survives. He lived all his life in the Goshen area and had worked for Western Rubber, Mogul Rubber and was owner of a sheet metal shop. Additional survivors include a son, Glen Allen. Stone Lake; a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Mary Ellen) Oiler, Dunlap; one additional sister, Mrs. Lettie Trump, Stone Lake; seven grandchildren; and one greatgrandchild. Four brothers and one sister preceded him in death. Funeral services were conducted Monday. March 15, at 10 a m. in the Yoder Culp Funeral Home, Goshen. Rev. Allen C. Amstutz. Cromwell, a retired painter and father of Carl Hadley. Syracuse, died at 4:55 p.m. Monday. March 15, in Goshen Hospital. He had been a patient there for the past week He is a native of East Troy, Wis., where he was born on February 8. 1901, to Homer and Sylvia (Braden) Hadley: On April 16. 1927, he married Louise Carolyn Lehman. She died on September 13.1981. Hadley had resided in Cromwell for the past 75 years and was a member of the Cromwell Masonic Lodge.

He had been ill for nine months. Nealis was bom on March 24, 1904. in Shelby County, Ky.. to Mr. and Mrs. Thomas W. Nealis. He had been a resident of Middleton for eight months, moving from Anderson after 10 years. He was a resident of Manon most of his adult life. She underwent surgery for reconstruction of right ankle ligaments. The Milford Junior High Eighth grader was released on Monday, March 15, and it is expected she will return to school the first of next week. For the next three weeks she will be wanting with the aid of crutches. She was born near Syracuse on March 17. 1904, to Martin and Sara (Hall) McClintic. On May 18, 1935. she married Charles Thomas. He preceded her in death in October 1967. Mrs. Thomas was a former member of the Calvary United Methodist Church. Elkhart and was a member of the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel and a homemaker. She had lived in Elkhart and Kosciusko County most of her life. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Sara) Zollinger, Elkhart; three grandchildren; and one sister. Mrs. Dean (Ethel) Hite. Death was due to an apparent heart attack. He was bom on September 26, 1925, in Albion, Mich., to Fredrick and Graces (Doane) Wilcox. On July 20. 1944, he married the former Ruth Blue in Defiance. Ohio. She survives. He has been a resident of the Syracuse area for the past 12 years, moving from Defiance. Wilcox was a member of the Syracuse Veterans of Foreign Wars, Eagles of Defiance, the Family Motor Coach Association and was a U.S. Marine veteran of World War 11. Survivors include his mother.
