He was a member of the Goshen Elks and a charter member of the Nappanee Jaycees. In addition to his wife, survivors include three sons; Gene. Nappanee, Larry. Syracuse, and Kim, Nappanee; one daughter. Mrs. Larry (Linda) Swank, Nappanee; two * stepdaughters. Mrs. Brant (Marahlee) Nine, and Mrs Kim (Melinda) Heckaman, all of Nappanee; one stepson. March 5, in Elkhart Hospital from an apparent heart attack He was bom on December 3, 1918. in Burket and on August 5, 1939, married Madeline Barfel She survives Foltz retired in 1981 from Bendix Corporation where he worked in the security office. He was a member of the Goshen post of Veterans of Foreign Wars, 102 Infantry Division Association and was an Armv veteran of World Warll In addition to his wife and brother, survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ray (Janine) Simnson. Monday, March 8. in the nursing home. She had been failing in health the past several years. . Mrs. Redding was born in Wells County on February 27. 1887. to Samuel and Mary (Commett) McAfee. On July 6. 1909. she married Herbert H. Redding. He preceded her in death in 1975. She moved to North Webster in 1952 from Tipton and was a former telephone operator in Bluffton Mrs Redding and her husband operated a wholesale candy business. She was a member of the North Webster United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. Tipton. Survivors include a number of nieces and nephews including Mary Jane Lesh. BACKING MISHAP — Thomas J. Woilman, 18. Milford, backed his 1972 Ford onto Main Street in Milford from in front of Campbell's Market Saturday morning, March 6, striking a 1981 Ford Escort owned by Felipe Flores, Jr„ 36, Milford. The accident occurred at 9:19 a.m. Flores* vehicle was stopped behind another auto when Woilman backed his auto into it. She is expected to be there for another week before returning to her home. BREAKS BLOOD VESSEL Wawasee High School industrial education teacher, Rudy Cesco, Leesburg, fell on the ice Monday morning, March 8. at 6:45 a. m. at his home and broke a blood vessel in his left hand. BREAKS WRIST Mrs. John (Dorothy) Martin. Sr , r 2 box 10 Milford, fell on the ice Sunday, March 7, and broke her left wrist. Mrs. Martin was taken to Goshen Hospital where she was treated and released. Martha Hapner. 69, 718 East Chicago Street, Syracuse, became ill and was transported to Goshen Hospital. On March 4 at 2:27 a m. the EMS was called to r 5 Syracuse, EMS Lane 12. The Thursday, March 11, class is titled “All My Baby Does Is Eat and Sleep!” Different methods of feeding will be covered in addition to spitting up, weight gain and sleeping patterns and problems. The March 20 seminar will run from 9 a m. to 3 p.m. in the Community Health Information Center. Nancy Schooley, R.N., diabetic education coordinator, and Barbara Fierce, registered dietician, will be the instructors. Enrollment in the class is limited and preregistration is required.
