OH. DEAR, the boss is coming home from Florida after a month in the sunshine. That means The M-J staff is going to have to get back to work and not spend all our time goofing oft! Well, that's what lots of folk think we do when the boss leaves town! Some of our employees even took days off work. What excuses! The first working day after AEB and Della left for the Southland a number of employees. including our editor, called in to say they couldn’t get to work because of the snow. Our editor even went so far as to say the snowplow didn’t go past her house until 15 minutes before the office closed. Some people even had the nerve to call in sick while the boss was gone! Staff members drank so much coffee dun ng the month of February that ye ole coffee pot gave up the ghost and a new one had to be purchased! And. you should see Arch’s office! Someone (we’re not naming names) has plans on taking it over. The contractors have been in there most of the month (strange they seem to be about done* working. The furniture is all disarranged . . . and the hanging light is sitting smack dab in the middle of the desk. Will he ever be surprised! -oNOW COMES a letter from Carol Lipp, daughter of Lloyd .Mynhier of Waubee Lake She moved to Texas last year and really likes it there Carol worked for The Papers Incorporated at one lime. With her change of address to 2019 Cartwright. Irving. Texas 75062. comes a note that.
