"REJOICE" The source of Joy is the Lord Himself for those who follow Him and pattern their life after Him. While the New Testament Church was in its early beginnings the apostles set the stage for us to follow. They after being imprisoned, beaten, then released, "departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer dishonor for the Nome {Acts 5:41). Their ability to rejoice endured through the months and years of hardship and suffering that were to come. Paul wrote, front his prison cell to the Philippians of his own joy and exhorted them to "Rejoice in the Lord always. " (Phil. 4:4). It is my hope that we con likewise rejoice in the Lord and soy.
