DISTRIBUTOR ADVISORY COMMITTEE NAMED — Three new members were named to Chore-Time Equipment's six-member distributor advisors committee for IW2 during the company's annual distributor meeting held recently in Elkhart. The 19K2 committee members shown above from left to right are Vera Cressman of Hurst Equipment Ltd., Rloomingdale. Ontario; new member, J. B. Van Meter of Farm Tech. Leesburg; Brad Donahoe. vice president of marketing for Chore-Time, representing Chore-Time management; Herb Hannah of Hannah Supply. Albertville. Ala.; new member. Carlton James of Carolina Agri Sytems. Goldsboro. VC.; and new member Tom Gillis of Gillis Agricultural Systems. Willmar. Minn. Mike Madsen (not shown) of Alpha Inc.. Turlock, Calif., is also a member of the committee. The members of the committee meet periodically with Chore-Time management to provide distributor input into the production and marketing plans of the company.

Syracuse woman is representative At the recent election of officers for the Elkhart County 4-H Adult Leaders Association for 1982 Margaret Weybright, Syracuse, was elected Fairboard representative. Carol Kauffman. Millersburg, was elected president of the adult leaders association; Dave Hahn. Nappanee. vice-president; and Edna Van Diepenbos. New Paris, secretary. Syracuse, Webster drivers in accidents The following two accidents have been reported to area police: On December 7 at 3:34 p.m a car driven by Vaunda L. Huffer. 25 . 706 E Baltimore St., Syracuse, drove south on CR 35 onto CR 20 and her 1976 Ford Pinto collided with an eastbound Chevrolet Nova driven by J. Peachy, 45. Goshen Area police estimated damage to each vehicle at more than S2OO. A two-vehicle accident at 9:35 a m Wednesday. Dec 2. involved autos driven by Robert D Myers. 43. r 3 North Webster, and Phillip J Moore. 25. Denver. Colo The incident occured at Lake and Main Streets. North Webster Myers began to turn right when the Moore car reportedly drove on the right side of Myers and the two vehicles collided Syracuse man jailed Bobby Ray May. 40. r 2 Syracuse, was recently given a two-year sentence by Judge Stephen Platt. Elkhart CountyCourt A fine of SB4 was also assessed for the charge of second offense driving while intoxicated May w as arrested last January 1 by Goshen police for driving while intoxicated After sentencing Saturday, May was taken to Elkhart County jail.

Donations still needed to complete community building
The Milford Area Development Council. Inc., <MAD> recently sent out letters to Milford area residents, asking for donations to complete the new Milford Community Building. According to MAD President Karl Keiper, donations have been slow coming in recently While 85 per cent of MAD’s original goal of $85,000 has been met, $11,200 is still needed to complete the building. This figure includes S3OO for bathrooms. $1,500 for ceiling and lights. $5,000 for the kitchen. $2,600 for floor coverings and SI,BOO for chairs and tables Ceiling insulation and the storage room have been completed, but S4OO is owed for the work done Keiper stressed the community building is designed “to serve the needs of the entire Milford area community." including a home for the Milford Emergency Medical Service tEMS>, senior citizens’ Chatter Box. service clubs, youth organizations, church groups, public meetings, private meetings, familygatherings and weddings He encourages residents to use the building. Syracuse, were the drivers of automobiles involved in a two-car accident December 5 at 9:40a.m. McVay was on Chicago Street and stopped for the stop sign at the Syracuse Webster Road. Holderman was turning east onto Chicago Street from the Syracuse-Webster Road and cut the comer too short hitting the McVay vehicle in the left front fender. Between S2OO and SI,OOO damage was done to both vehicles according to Syracuse police.

Joys." “Sleigh Ride ” The Varsity Singers will present two numbers entitled "Christmas Is The Warmest Time Os The Year,” and "Have Yourself A Merry- Little Christmas .” Members of the mixed choir will present “Silver Bells,” and “Ring the Bells." The treble choir will be singing “The Closer It Gets To Christmas,” and "It's Beginning To Look Like Christmas." "What Child Is This," will be sung by the senior girls The combined choirs will close the program with such songs as “It 's Christmas Once Again," “O Holy Night,” “White Christmas,” and "Let It Snow ”
In addition to the choirs the symphony orchestra will present selections of "A Christmas Festival," “Sleigh Ride." and Christrfias favorites Both the choirs and orchestra will combine to present, "Infant Holy. Infant Lowly,", and the “Hallelujah Chorus” from Handel’s “Messiah.” Accompanists for the evening will be: Susie Schmucker. Annette Beer, Bill Dixon, Lori Keim. Tom Littlefield, Michelle Turpin, Dawn Engleberth. Lana Beer, Kim Lundy. Amy Clouse. Kathy Cobbum. Lisa Hunter and Darci Gilbert The public is invited to share the evening with the high school students.
