19 YEARS AGO. SEPT. 29. 1971 Mrs. Waneta Blackbum. r 3 Syracuse, was visited recently by Don Mock of Kissimmee, Fla. On Sunday she visited her brother, Dale Mock of Milford. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Miller of Milford, spent Sunday visiting Mrs Miller's sister, Mrs Alta Botev of Goshen. Mr. and Mrs. Guy Fisher of the Milford-Syracuse community observed their 65th wedding anniversary last Wednesday. Mrs. Richard Neff of Milford, a granddaughter, joined Mrs Fisheer for dinner in the dining room of Miller’s Merry Manor where Mrs. Fisher resides Mr. and Mrs. Theo Beer and Mr. and Mrs. Carlton Beer all of Milford, spent the week end at Tremount, 111. Mrs. Roy Rogers of Millersburg was a Friday visitor in the home of Mrs Hazel Kline at Milford Mrs. Doris Wolferman of Milford moved into the home vacated by Mr and Mrs Mike Ostendorf of Milford. Two caught siphoning gasoline Syracuse Police Officer William Selvey and Kosciusko County Patrolman Thomas Kitch apprehended two individuals Tuesday evening, Sept 22. in the parking lot at Wawasee High School The officers were driving through the school s parking lot when they discovered two individuals siphoning gasoline from a school bus into a sixgallon can. Initially both individuals denied involvement, but later admitted to it.
