KCH Auxiliary honors volunteers

Members of the Kosciusko Community Hospital Auxiliary met recently for their annual appreciation and awards dinner Attending the dinner were 85 volunteers and 10 junior volunteers. She also presented a patch denoting program participation, a pin if the student had been in the program for one year and a second-year bar for an additional year of service, if indicated. At our LNG Plant near LaPorte, we are working *o increase productivity and our flexibility in meeting customers gas needs. Chuck Tomczak, superintendent, tells how... ‘Here at our liquefied natural gas plant, we take gas from our transmission line when customer demand is low in the summer and convert it to a liquefied state by “cooling" it to minus 258 degrees Fahrenheit. This reduces it to 1/600th of its original volume. This way we can store an equivalent of about two billion cubic feet of natural gas in each of the two z tanks we have here. Then in
