The vehicles were driven by Carol A. Carpentier. 21. 522-B Chinworth Ct.. Warsaw and Mary E. Bailey, fl. Milford. Mrs. Bailey was driving her 1976 Eord Van south on SR 15 and attempted a left hand turn at Emetine Street. She did not see the oncoming Carpentier vehicle and was struck bv the 197 X Ford Mustang. !• YEARS AGO. FEB. 16,1»71 An early morning fire Saturday destroyed three Lake Wawasee homes and , damaged another with estimates of the loss running well over SIOO,OOO. The homes are located near Morrison Island. The three homes, two summer homes and one recently remodeled year around home, were completely engulfed in flames when Syracuse firemen responded to the call from a neighbor at 3:32 a m. Saturday. Wawasee high school senior.
