Lantz,, Revenaugh promoted
Dana Corporation recently promoted two men within the corporation to higher positions. Malcolm E. “Mac” Lantz was named president of Shannon Pi 'perties, Dana’s recentlyformed real estate company. Shannon is part of Dana’s Venture Group which is responsible for the company’s insurance, banking, leasing and real estate activities. Lantz joined Dana in 1951. He was vice president and general manager of Spicer Universal Joint Division prior to his new assignment. A native of Richmond, he attended Evansville University and Earlham College, completed Indiana University’s executive development program and Harvard University advanced management program. In 1972 he became industrial relations vice president. He was appointed vice president and general manager of the Spicer universal joint division in December 1976. Norma E. Revenaugh Promoted Norman E. Revenaugh was recently announced vice president and general manager of Dana’s Spicer universal joint division. A Toledo, Ohio, native, Revenaugh joined Dana in 1952. He became a project engineer in 1957, assistant chief transmission engineer in 1960 and served as senior sales engineer, Western Region Operations, before becoming chief product engineer of advance design for the Spicer Division in 1966. He was named Spicer transmission division chief engineer in’’February 1967. He became general sales manager of that division in 1972, In 1977 he was appointed- hydraulics components industrial power transmission division manager with responsibility for the Hillsdale, Mich., operation. In 1978, Revenaugh was promoted to general manager of Dana industrials fluid drives and controls division. He became vice president and general manager of that division in December 1979. 10 YEARS AGO. DEC. 23,1970 Sam’s Syracuse Iron and Metal Co., in Syracuse, has a crusher at its yard this week and next for use by anyone wishing to get rid of old junk cars. The cars to be crushed are to be taken to the company yard. Syracuse police chief Orville VanderHeyden has asked cooperation in getting rid of old cars sitting in the area. Approximately 600 children and a number of parents attended the free kiddie show. at the Pickwick Theatre Saturday, sponsored by the Syracuse police and fire departments, merchants and industry of the area. The show consisted of a feature length Flintstone cartoon and a number of shots making a two-hour show. John Hulley, a 1969 graduate of Wawasee high school and son of Mr. and Mrs. Robt.
