Wawasee Kiwanis, State Bank, join to collect toys The Wawasee Kiwanis and the State Bank of Syracuse are combining their efforts in the collecting and distribdting of used or new toys donated by Lakeland area residents. For many years the Kiwanis have distributed baskets of food to needy families on Christmas Eve. It was noted that these families had few, if any personal gifts. This Christmas Eve toys will be delivered along with the food in an attempt to brighten spirits and keep the spark of hope glowing in the hearts of children and those who love them.
