Michele Ann Miller, r 1 box 178 Milford, married Jeffrey L. Spitler, Syracuse, on November 1 at 5 p.m. in Saint Andrew’s United Methodist Church. Michele Miller is the daughter of Mirian Johnson, Syracuse and Maury Miller, Goshen. Jeffrey Spitler is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack (Connie) Spitler, r 5 box 108 Syracuse. The double-ring ceremony was officiated by Rev. Phil Frew of Saint Andrew’s with 100 guests present. The altar was decorated with roses sided with four palm tree arrangements and two candelabras. The bride, given in marriage by her father, was dressed in a traditional wedding gown with a daisy applique and a long train trimmed in lace. Her short veil matched the daisy applique and she carried salmon colored roses with brown tiger lillies and baby’s breath. The maid of honor, Julie Ann Wysong, Syracuse, wore a peach and white print gown and a peach colored ribbon. She carried peach carnations, baby’s breath and brown tiger lillies in her bouquet. The flower girl, Megan Spitler, Syracuse, the bridegroom’s sister, also carried peach and brown flowers. The best man was Roger Shiply, Syracuse. He was accompanied by ushers Michael Miller, the brother of the bride, Milford and Steve Conrad, Syracuse. They all wore peach carnations. The bride’s mother wore a mint green dress and the bridegroom ’s mother wore a violet dress pleated at the bottom. Both wore peach rose and white carnation corsages with brown tiger lillies. Following the wedding ceremony, a reception was held at the Syracuse American Legion. Flowers from the church were displayed at the reception where Kim Spitler, sister of the bridegroom and Stacey Kline, the bridegroom’s aunt, served. The 1950 s rock band ‘Utopia’ played. The couple honeymooned for seven days at Indian Rocks Beach, Fla. and Disney World. A rehearsal dinner was held Friday, Oct. 31, at the Windjammer Restaurant, Syracuse.

Shelley will be a 1981 graduate of Wawasee High School and is employed at the Loving Care Nursing Home in Milford. Her fiance is a graduate of Wawasee High School and is employed at Miller’s Custom in Milford. ' 1 - An April 4th wedding is being planned in the Milford Christian Church.
