Jeff, eight years old, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tim Levernier, Milford. Dave Goldsmith, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Cable, r 1 Milford, rode the most miles in the bike-a-thon, 33 miles. There were a total of 18 riders participating and the total amount of pledges was between >350 and 8400. Area girls invited to participate in 'Miss Teen-Ager' pageant
Young women between the ages of 13 and 18 are invited to participate in the 10th annual “Miss Indiana National TeenAger Pageant.” It will be held at Indiana Central University. Indianapolis, on Saturday, June 27,1981. The 20th annual Indiana pageant is the official and preliminary to the Miss National Tenn-Ager Pageant. It will be held in Fort Myers. Fla., in August 1981. The Indiana winner receives a cash college scholarship prize at the winner’s choice of school, a 1981 Mazda GLC, $2,000 personal appearance contract and a full tuition fashion merchandising course. Contestants are jucjged on scholastic achievement.

The pageant theme, “What's Right About America” and a SI,OOO cash scholarship is awarded the' 1 national essay winner. Each contestant participates in volunteer civic and cornmumly affairs. A mini-modeling charm course is given during the three day event. The reigning Miss Indiana National Teen-Ager is Veronica Martinson of Chesterton.
