Riley’s Children’s Hospital, Indianapolis, as a state project and each county is to make 10 children’s bibs and four dog face pillows. Members met in the home of Jeff Miller to work and afterwards went to Roger Geimer’s for hot dogs, snacks and a volleyball game. Rural Youth is a club for single young adults 17-28. The club met Wednesday, July 2, in the Women’s building at the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds. The meeting began at 7 p.m., with softball and volleyball games and then a meeting at 8 p.m. FABRIC CARE To increase the life of fine fabrics, wrap them in towels after washing and let them hang on a rack or outside to dry.

Judy Willard on dean's list - Judy E. Willard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Willard, 107 Wood Street, Syracuse, has been named to the Grace College Dean’s List for the spring of 1980. She is a junior and is majoring in elementary education. Dr. Vance A. Yoder, academic dean, said the list is composed of full-time students in the highest two per cent of the student body with a grade point average of 3.93 to 4.00. Grace College is an accredited four-year coeducational, Chrisitan school of the arts and sciences located in Winona Lake. $675 damage as cars collide Carma J. Schrock, 33, r 4 box 90 Syracuse, had stopped for * another car in the 700 block of South Huntington, on June 21, when a vehicle struck her car from the rear. The other car was driven by Brenda J. Welty, P.O. Box 461, Syracuse. It sustained $550 damage. The Schrock vehicle had an estimated damage of $125.

Bikes stolen Connie Morrow, 210 West Main St., Syracuse, reported the theft of two bicycles, Saturday, June 28, from her front yard near the front porch. One bike was a Huffy dirt bicycle with braces on both sides. Estimated value was set at $75. The other bike was also a Huffy, brown and dirt bike style with a broken rear frame and five spokes missing. The value of the second bike was set at $25. Better crust The next time a recipe calls for a crumb crust, try making it from toasted bread crumbs instead of crackers. It is substantially more nutritious.
