dertaking — community support is greatly needed from every organization and family. The urgency for providing a home for the Milford Emergency Medical Services and Chatter Box is a fact. Federal funds have been considered, but the red tape and time to process such a grant, plus the possibility of not even receiving the funds, has lead the board of directors to the conclusion that the Milford area community can build its own Milford Area Community Building. "Your help is needed both financially and physically. Your enthusiasm is needed. Some funds have already been pledged, but the entire Milford community needs to rally around this project. Your financial support is paramount to the project. Your volunteer labor to build the structure is necessary. There is no question what a structure like this camdo for the Milford area community. "Your first step is to join the Milford Area Development Council. Inc. . . (Contact MAD officers Karl Keiper. Bruce Bultemeier, Darrell Orn or Carol Haab for more information). “And dop’t forget the public meeting next Tuesday. See you there!” Need Home Also discussed at the meeting last night was the need for a temporary home for the Chatter Box and EMS while the construction is underway. Darrell Custer was present at the Tuesday meeting to discuss the tearing down of the old hotel building. A necessary step prior to constructing a new building It was noted Bill Stath’s name was left off the list of building committee members published last week. The size of the building was revised to 68 x 80. Treasurer Darrell Orn reported he has set up a Milford Community Building Fund for monies for the building.
