This is the sixth year the school has participated in this program that is offered to elementary schools by the Campbell’s Soup Company. In the past, the school has received free audio-visual equipment in exchange for labels collected from any cans of Campbell's soups or beans, Franco-American products, V-8 vegetable juice or Swanson products. The gcal this year is 15,000 labels, for which the school would receive a listening center and a set of Encyclodpedia Britannica. The school has already collected about 10,000 labels. The drive ends February 22. Anyone can participate by sending labels from the products identified above to the elementary school. The labels may be taken directly to the school office or sent to school with students. The front portion of the label can be removed from unused cans, thus leaving identification on these cans. The annual program is sponsored by the Syracuse ParentTeachers Organization.
