Miner will be full-time prosecutor After the first of the year Kosciusko County will have a fulltime prosecuting attorney. Prosecuting Attorney Michael L. Miner filed a petition with Circuit Court Judge Richard Sand on Friday, Dec. 14, stating he had elected to devote all of his professional time to the duties of the office. The judge granted the request. Under Indiana Law, Kosciusko County is entitled to a full-time prosecutor, if the acting prosecutor so chooses. The salary will be $35,000, the same as a circuit court judge of the same judicial circuit. Because of the case load. Miner has already devoted the majority of his time to the part-time position since taking office one year ago. Miner was elected to a fouryear term in the fall of 1978 and {the term runs from January 1, 1979 to December 31,1982. For the rest of his term he will not engage in private practice of law. His office will continue to be loated at 827 South Union Street, but he will not be associated with the law firm of Valentine, Walmer and Miner. He also will continue to have two deputy prosecutors.
