Rinker proves No. 1 ranking
Terry Rinker displayed the form at Goshen, Saturday which made him *the number one wrestler in the Northern Lakes Conference in his weight class last year Terry has advanced from the 105 pound weight class to the 119 pound class but his domination remains something to behold' Goshen's. Randy Gill was waiting to see if wrestling all summer would give him the edge necessary for victory. After losing to Rinker last year by lopsided margins he found out he has improved. But not enough. Rinker scored the first takedown and continued to control Gill in the first period. Gill started in the up position during period two but Rinker reversed control immediately and held it for the rest of the match. It was sophomore day for the Warriors as Gary Gerencser. Jeff Glon and Bill Harting all came through with victories Gerericser is establishing himself along

Plymouth afraid of Rinker, Walker
The Wawasee Warriors wrestling team traveled to Plymouth last Thursday and found the host Rockies reluctant to wrestle. The Rockies could find no one willing to wrestle Kevin Walker at 98 pounds or Terry Rtnker at 119 pounds It is not surprising Plymouth chose to forfeit these two weight classes as both wrestlers have to be ranked • number one in their weight ,elass in the Northern Lakes Conference The meet proved to lx* very interesting as Wawasee took an early lead but lost it on some unfortunate circumstances. Coach Rich Welborn in discussing the meet expressed pride in his young wrestlers and indicated we could expect to set 1 a couple more replacing present varsity members. Arnold Garza flashed his championship form as he pinned Achievement award to Ric Schackel Ric Schaekel, broker and owner of Century 21 Beaty Realtors, has been awarded the Achievement in Management (AIM > Award for 1979, The AIM Award is presented annually to a select group of outstanding brokers/owners within the Century 21 organization and is the highest honor an affiliated Century 21 broker can receive The primary criteria for selection as an AIM Award winner are exceptional service to the community and increased production Schaekel met certain standards, over a one-year period, to qualify for the AIM award.
