Milford. Friday. Dec 7. Involved in the mishap were Nancy J Newcomer. 29, r 2 Milford and Mary E. Cripe. 35. r 1 New Paris. The Cripe auto was east bound on Emeline Street and the Newcomer auto was traveling south on W est Street Kosciusko County Patrolman Jeffrey Bronsing set the damage to Cripe s auto at S3OO. There was no damage to Newcomer's auto Milford man faces shooting charges Refugio Ramirez. 37. Milford, was taken into custody at a Goshen industrial business, by Detective J D. Bigler. Wednesday afternoon. Dec. 5. Ramirez was booked in Elkhart County jail on a preliminary charge of battery with a deadly weapon Ramirez was arraigned for a probable cause hearing Thursday in reference to a shooting incident in Goshen. Saturday. Dec. 1. The shooting occurred during a scuffle between Ramirez and Gerardo F Diaz. 21. 308 W. Oak Ridge Ave . Goshen, behind the Magic Stick. 110 N. Main St., at 1:54 am. Saturday. The *4gument started after a pool game. Diaz sustained a minor gunshot wound below thb right knee and was treated and released from Goshen Hospital. A .22 caliber pistol with two empty shells and four live rounds was later found’ by police on a ledge behind the building Diaz had declined to press charges as of Thursday. Dec fi *450 damages in accident near Webster Damage estimates total $450 in a collision which involved two North Webster residents Fridaymorning. Dec. 7. The accident occurred at the intersection of Armstrong Rd. and SR 13. one mile south of North W : ebster. The incident happened when a van driven by Larry K. Elliott. 25. r 1 W ade Drive, hit the back of an auto driven by Patricia H. Martin. 50. r 1. Elliott told county police that he slid while trying to avoid hitting the back of the Martin auto after the backup lights had come on. Damage to the van, which was owned by NIPSCo. was estimated at SSO and to the Martin car at SSOO.
