Rural Milford man cited for failure to yield Gregory D. Stutzmarj, 18, r 2 Milford, was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way following a two-car collision, Sunday afternoon, Dec. 9. The mishap occurred two miles south of Warsaw at the intersection of County Farm Road and CR 300 S. The driver of the other auto, Letucia M. Griffith. 16, r 2 Claypool, suffered injpries to a knee and ribs. She was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital for treatment. Stutzman was eastbound on CR 300 S and Griffith was traveling south on the County Farm Road, when the accident Occurred. There was approximately SI,OOO damage to Griffith’s auto and S4OO damage to Stutzmjm’s auto, Kosciusko County fjatrolman Burdell Blackburn investigated

Haskins threatens Webster with $ 68,742 law suit
The town of North Webster is being threatened with a suit of $68,742 if a $8,742 retainage fee for services of Haskins, Inc. is not paid within 10 days. Haskins. Parents eat at school
During American Education Week a number of parents ate lunch in the elementary schools with their children. Figures showed the following results: At Milford there was a total of 173 parents attending A break down shows that 38 parents came on Tuesday, Nov. 13; 41 parents on Wednesday, 47 on Thursday and 47 on Friday.

North Webster had 154 parents participate during the four days. During the first day there were 41 parents, 38 on Wednesday, 49 on Thursday and 26 on Friday . Syracuse had the lowest number with 125 parents attending. There were 26 parents joining their children for lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday, 34 on Thursday and 39 on Friday.

Elementary parents, teachers hold conferences in November
During the early part of November Parent/Teacher conferences were held for kindergarten and grades one through five. A summary was submitted by John A. Naab, curriculum coordinator for the Lakeland School Board. At Milford there was 87 per cent participation by parents for the kindergarten classes, 88 per cent for first grade, 82 per cent for second grade, 84 per cent for third grade, 89 per cent for fourth grade and 88 per cent for fifth grade. There was a building total of 86 per cent participation for parents. At North Webster there was a 93 per cent participation for the building. There were 95 per cent of the parents there for kindergarten, 92 per cent for grade one, 99 per cent for grade two; 93 per cent for grade three and four and 91 per cent for grade five. The corporation totals show that 92 per cent 6f the parents in all three schools came. In the kindergarten level there were 94 per cent. 91 per cent for first grade, 92 per cent for second grade, 89 per cent for third grade, 93 per cent for fourth grade and 91 per cent for fifth grade.
