Poe, 39, r 2 Leesburg, received a skinned elbow and bruises to the neck and left hip when his truck rolled over and hit a light pole after 6 a m. Thursday morning, Nov. 8. The accident occurred when he attempted to avoid striking a farm combine near Leesburg. Poe told police he did not see a combine that was traveling east on CR 600 N and when he neared the back of the combine, he applied his brakes and lost control of the truck. Police said the vehicle apparently crossed into the opposite side of the road, traveled into the grass and rolled. Damage to the 1970 model truck was estimated at $1,200. Kosciusko County Patrolman Roger Fellows stated the combine had flashing rear lights and a slow moving vehicle emblem.
