Glenn D. Seely Sept. 27.1903—N0v. 6,1979 Glenn D. Seely, 76, Jonesville, Mich., father of D. G. (Bud) Seely, Milford, died Tuesday Nov. 6, at 8:30 p.m. in the Hillsdale Community Health Center, Hillsdale, Mich. Seely was born on September 27, 1903, to J. A. and Minnie Seeley, in Camden, Mich. On September 17, 1927, he married the former Kate Wilson. She survives ‘ Additional survivors include five daughters, Mrs. James (Beatrice) Shaner, Marshall, Mich., Mrs. Herbert (Rhetta) Sturtezant, Tecumseh, Mich., Mrs. Michael (Phyllis) D’Addio, Lyle, 111., Mrs. James (Nancy) Kimmel, Mesa, Ariz., and Susan, at home; one son, James, Tecumseh, Mich.; two sisters, two brothers, 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchilren. Funeral services will be Friday, Nov. 9, at 1 p.m. in the Ned M. Towns Funeral Home, North Adams, Mich. Forrest Brockhoff July 27,1903 — Nov. 4,1979 Forrest Brockhoff, 76, r 1 Leesburg, died at 9:30 p.m. Sunday evening, Nov. 4, in the Goshen Hospital where he had been a patient for two days. He was born July 27, 1903, in Seymour to William and Hattie (Davis) Brockhoff. He married the former Nora Ikerd on October 17,1931. She survives. Brockhoff was a retired bakery engineer who had moved to this area from Bowling Green, Ky., in 1958. He was a member of the Lakeland Baptist Church at Oswego and was a 50-year member of the Masonic lodge. Additional survivors include two sons, Roger Brockhoff, Goshen, James Brockhoff, Conyers, Ga.; four grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Ralph Bohnenkamp, Anderson. One sister preceded him in death. Services were today (Wednesday) Nov. 7, at 1:30p.m. in the Lakeland Baptist Church, Oswego. Burial followed in the Oswego cemetery. Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements. Nathan C. under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident. Evidently, the teen fell asleep while driving and his auto struck Leek’s auto head on. Monday Services Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 5, in New Palestine and memorials are asked to be made to the American Cancer Society. Leek was a 15-year resident of the Indianapolis area, and worked for the Indianapolis Newspapers, Inc. He was formerly employed by The Goshen News. The son of Mr. and Mrs. Owen Leek, Sr., he was born December 12, 1930. He married Norma Baker on June 9, 1954. She survives. Leek was a member of the Elkhart Church of the Brethren and Local One of the International Typographical Union and was president of the Midwest Progressive Club and was in the Army during the Korean conflict. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Jeffrey (Karen) Kemp, Columbus and Cheryl; a son, Edward; and a brother, John (Jerry) of McFarland, Wis. Also surviving are three half brothers, Owen Leek, Jr., Orlando, Fla., Richard Leek, Elkhart and Allen Fredrickson, Goshen; and two half sisters, Mrs. Irvin (Virginia) Frey, Goshen and Mrs. Glen (Audrey) Roy, Topeka. Mrs. John A. Graham Jan. 10,1912 —Nov. 5.1979 Mrs. Ruth A. Graham, 67, 1410 S. Uth St., Goshen, sister of Jay Van Sickle, Syracuse, died at 4:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5, in the Goshen Hospital. She had been a patient since October 11 and a patient at Fountainview Place, Goshen, since March 14. Mrs. Graham was bom on January 10, 1912, in Brown City, Mich. She had lived most of her life in Goshen. Before her marriage to John A. Graham, November 22, 1941, she was employed at Mogul Rubber Co., and after her marriage she was employed for a time at Penn Controls, Goshen. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and of the Grace Nunery Class. . Survivors include a sister, Mrs. George (Esther) Denton, Los Altos, Calif., and one brother, Bums Van Sickle, Leesburg, Fla. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today (Wednesday) at the Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen. Rev. Fuhrman P. Miller, pastor of

Weaver Feb. 6,1920 — Nov. 5,1979 Loren J. Weaver, 59, 438 North Logan St., Mishawaka, a former Leesburg resident, died at 9 p.m. Monday, in the Saint Joseph Hospital, Mishawaka. He had been failing in health the past year. In independent trucker for Independent Concrete Pipe Co., Mishawaka, Weaver had resided in Leesburg, 12 years ago, moving to Mishawaka. He was bom on February 6. 1920, to Alvin and Eva (Kaufman) Weaver in Bremen. He was married to the former Treva Vanlue on August 20, 1944, at Bremen. She survives. Weaver was a member of the Osceola Church of the Brethren and the teamsters union.

November 18. She survives. He was a member of Grace Brethren Church, Goshen and was ordained in the Church of the Brethren in 1919. He had spent much of his life in the New Paris Church of the Brethren. During his lifetime he spent 39 years as an elementary school teacher in Kosciusko and Elkhart counties and was a retired farmer. Additional survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Francis (Velma) Caprarotta, Goshen, Mrs. George (Doris) Steele, Mishawaka; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Disher, Dayton, Ohio and Lottie Richcreek, Bristol; one brother, Kenneth Mock, Elkhart. One son, one daughter, one brother and one sister preceded him in death. Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. Rev. Lester Young and Rev. Robert Ashman will officiate. Burial will be in Union Center cemetery, Nappanee. Friends may call at the funeral home ater 2 p.m. today (Wednesday).

Kirkwood. 23, r 4 Syracuse, sustained small abrasions to his left shoulder and back after his auto rolled over Wednesday afternoon. Oct. 31. The accident occurred at the intersection of SR 13S and CR 530E. Indiana State Police Trooper Fred Martin reported Kirkwood was northbound on SR 13 approaching CR 530E when an auto driven by Ruby M. Hay. 75, 419 S. Fifth Street, Goshen, pulled into his path. In an attempt to avoid striking the Hay auto, Kirkwood veered left and skidded approximately 142 feet into a shallow drainage ditch on the northwest side of the intersection, causing his vehicle to overturn.

The first call was on Wednesday, Oct. 31. when a man was injured in an automobile accident on SR 15N at the overpass. The man suffered facial lacerations, lacerations to the right hand and and a sore neck. He was transported to the Goshen Hospital emergency room. On Friday,‘ Nov. 2, the EMS responded to a call when a man was injured when a scaffolding collapsed causing him to fall. He was hit on the head with a board and was transported to the emergency room at Kosciusko Community Hospital. Syracuse EMS Reggie Williams, 37, r 1, Box 455 Syracuse, was transported to Goshen Hospital on November 3 at 1:33 a m. after he sustained lacerations in a fight. The EMS transported Max McCormick, 59, r 1 Box 413 Syracuse, to Goshen Hospital on November 4 at 7:16 p.m. after he became ill at home. Also on November 4 Larry Gilliland, 51, r 2 Box 489 Syracuse, was taken to Goshen Hospital after he was injured at 9:19 a.m. while lifting a boat from the water.
