Fred Inskeep, Sr. May 25.1889 — Oct. 9.1979 Fred L. Inskeep, Sr., 90, 5850 Nebraska St., Marion, father of Mrs. Evelyn Cole, Leesburg, died Tuesday, Oct. 9, at 3.15 a.m. in his home. He had been failing in health the past two years. Inskeep was a native of Wells County and was a retired farmer. He was born May, 25, 1889, to Voss and Louisa Inskeep and had resided at Marion for 40 years. Additional survivors include his widow, the former Maud Miller; two sons, Fred J. Inskeep. Jr., Greenfield, John Inskeep. Saint Joseph, Mich; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at 10.30 a m. Thursday, Oct. 11, in the Needham and Son Funeral Home. 814 South Adams St., Marion Rev. Vernon Nevil officiated and burial was in the IOOF cemetery Marion. John Merriman Aug. 17. 1890 —Oct. 11,1979 John (Jack) Merriman. 89. summer resident of Lake Wawasee. r 2 Syracuse, also of Pontiac, Mich., died on Thursday, Oct. 11. at Goshen Hospital. He had been a patient there the past three weeks. Merriman was born on August 17, 1890, in Pittsburgh, Pa., the son of Thomas John and Jennie (Moore) Merriman. He married the former Irene Pollock on September 10.1970. She survives Survivors including his widow are one daughters Mrs. Arthur (Alice) Harrison. Rochester. Mich.; one grandchild and one great-grandchild. Services were conducted at 2 p.m., Tuesday. Oct. 16, in Pontiac, Mich. Lawrence Beigh Feb. 22. 1891 —Oct. 12. 1979 Lawrence D. Beigh. 88. r 1 Claypool, brother of Mrs. Artie (Bertha) Montel. Syracuse, died on Friday, Oct. 12, in his home at 6:30 p.m. Death was due to an apparent heart attack He was born on February 22. 1891. in Lake Township. Kosciusko County, the son of James A. and Lydia ’Metzger’ Beigh and had been a life time resident of.the county. Beigh was married to. Elsa Cauffman on June 24. 1916 She preceded him in death on December 8, 1939. He was remarried on December 28, 1940. to Ruby Garman. She survives. Beigh was a member of the United Methodist Church, Claypool, retired farmer and

Steven Cairi officiated at the Claypool United Methodist Church and interment was in Se Graceland cemetery Madeline McMillen June 16. 1901—October 15.1979 Madeline McMillen, 78, r 1 Logansport, died at 1:30 a.m. Monday in the Memorial Hospital in Logansport after suffering a lingering illness of several months. She was the mother of Richard McMillen of 301 S. Main Street, Milford. A native of Logansport, Mrs. McMillen was born June 16.1901, a daughter of C. D. and Marie (Kiefer) Billman. She was a member of the Webb Chapel United Methodist Church. Mrs. McMillen married Russel McMillen in 1922. He died in 1968. Surviving are two other sons, Robert and Donald, both of Logansport; a daughter, Mrs. Daniel Mclntosh, also of Loga nsport; 11 grandchi Idren; and 10 great-grandchildren One son. Billy, preceded her in death. Services were conducted at 10 a.m. this morning (Wednesday) in Logansport with burial in the Mount Hope cemetery. Noel M. Kaylor Feb. 26, 1911 —Oct. 11, 1979 Noel M. (Pappy) Kaylor. 69. 1524 N. Main St., Nappanee, died Thursday, Oct. 11, at 10 a m. in his home. He was born on February 26, 1911. in Milford, to Fred and Hazel (Thwaits) Kaylor. He was married to Wanda Kaylor on July 4, 1950, in Louisville. Ky. She survives. Kaylor was a retired mobile home transport driver. Additional survivors include a son, Thomas Kaylor, Massachusetts; two brothers, Wayne. Cassopolis. Miller, 78, 308 East Walnut St., Akron, father of Mrs. Donald (Kay) Harney, Milford, died early Sunday, Oct. 14, in Woodlawn Hospital. Rochester. He had been failing in health the past 10 years. He was born on May 26,1901, to Hugh and Alwida (Pontius) Miller, in Fulton County. He married the former Nettie Hartzler on June 9,1922. at Peru. She survives. Miller was a retired fanner and a member of the Akron Church of God. Additional survivors include two sons, Ralph J Miller, Macy, Devon Miller, Rochester; five daughters. On August 20. 1921, he was married to Hilda Leitch. She survives. Gaff was a retired Noble County farmer and in addition to his farming he operated barber shops in Kendallville and Churubusco. class D misdemeanor of theft Gonzalez is accused of stealing two keystone magnesium rims and two tires from Milford Motors, Milford, early Saturday morning, Oct. 6 Those items were sold for $35 to another Milford resident that day The rims and tires were discovered near Milford J unciton at a home and reported to Hobbs Pamer is charged with stealing four white spoke magnesium rims, four tires and a 12 volt battery on June 24 from C. S. Myers Ford. Inc.. Milford. Sloan sentenced Donald Eugene Sloan. 22. Milford, has been given a suspended sentence and placed on probation for one year. Sloan was sentenced last May to the Indiana Department of Corrections on theft charges, but returned to Kosciusko Circuit Court recently for a shock probation hearing. Under terms of his probation, he is to be employed, support his dependents and meet his family responsibilities, make a full resititution in the amount of SIOO for his action and pay the court costs.
