History confab at South Bend September 22 The Northerm-fndiana History Conference of the Indiana Historical Society will be held Saturday. Sept. 22. in the Century Center. South Bend. The Family History section of the program features “Finding Your Mennonite Ancestors.” speaker: Lois Ann Zook: “Finding Your Michigan Ancestors.” speaker: Richard Hathaway; and after lunch Lois Ann Zook will be speaking again on the topic of “Finding Your Pennsylvania Ancestors.” Lois Ann Zook is the librarian for the Lancaster Mennonite Historical Society. Lancaster Pa. This library holds more than 60.000 volumes of which 20.000 are history and genealogy books. Miss Zook has done research in Switzerland Richard Hathaway is head of the Michigan unit at the State Library. Lansing Formerly he was with the Burton Collection on the Detroit Public Library. He is author of several articles on history and genealogy

Two arrested for burglary Two persons were arrested in connection with the burglary of a rural North Webster home on Tuesday night. Sept 11. by Allen County officers Diane Marie Digirolano. 19 and James Scott Russell. 22. both of Huntertown, were booked at the Kosciusko County jail and held without bond. were apprehended after a dispatch was given to police at 9 p m., to be on the look-out for a 1977 blue D.odge with antique farm furniture in the back Allen County police arrested the pair at 9:40 p m . and they were brought back to Kosciusko Countv.
