Hollywood. Ela. They have eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Hart is retired from Warner Press, Anderson, where he was employed as a traffic manager.

American and Christian flags were repeated in unison. The lesson, “Home Energy Audit" was presented by Mildred Wilson. Devotions were given by Mrs. Eldon Watkins. Announcements were made concerning: Homemakers Camp, the fall luncheon and the fall trip to Michigan. Reports were given by Mrs. Wilson, health and safety, Mrs. Lee, garden remarks: Mrs. Bernard Roberts, citizenship: and Blanche Kline, culturakarts. Family Night is planned for September 20. A carry-in supper will be served at the House of Friendship. Mrs. Roberts and Mrs. John Detwiler are cochairmen for the Family Night event. A silent auction of craft items was enjoyed. School Daze senior citizens party theme A School Daze party was enjoyed on September 12 by the Senior Citizens group at North Webster Church of God. t All the ladies attending wore large ribbons in their hair. Class was taught by Gladys Culver. Betty Grieder was the teachers helper. A sack lunch was served. The three, "Rs” were studied and good students were rewarded with candy. Guessing games were played and group singing enjoyed. Donna Robbins gave a reading entitled, "Grandnja’s Remedies. ** Gladys Foudy discussed, “The Mirror and Me. " Each student gave a brief talk about their school days. Theta Sigma plans bazaar Plans for the coming year were made during the September 11 meeting of Theta Sigma Chapter of Psi lota Xi Sorority. The meeting was held at the home of Sally Gillem. It was announced that this year’s Christmas Bazaar will be held in November instead of December. Mary Waltz will be hostess for the next meeting Kiser reunion held Sept. 9 The fourth annual reunion of the decendants of Sherman and Ruth Kiser was held September 9 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Niles. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Kiser assisted the hosts. A carry-in dinner was served at noon. Ralph Kiser asked the table blessing. The afternoon was spent playing yard games. Plans were finalized for the September 16 Knights of Pythias banquet. Following the business session euchre was played. Ermal Vanator placed high and Catherine Bause placed low. The door prize was presented to Ethel Engle.

Frog Tavern, reported a drunk person in a white Mazda Car backs out of driveway, hits parked car A parked car received S4OO damage Wednesday morning when Daniel J. Chamberlin of 304 West Section, Milford, backed his car into it. Chamberlin was backing out of his driveway at 7 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, when he collided with a 1966 Ford owned by Jerold Bushong of r 1 Milford. The Bushong car was parked across the street from Chamberlin’s residence. Milford Town Marshal David Hobbs investigated the mishap.
McMillan pleads not guilty to charges David McMillan, 18. r 2 Syracuse, pleaded not guilty to charges of possession of a controlled substance, a Class D felony, in Kosciusko Circuit Court. Monday, Sept. 17. McMillan was arrested in the August 22 undercover drug bust by Warsaw Police. Law enforcement officers charge that on June 26, he had a quantity of LSD in his possession. He appeared in court with his attorney. Kenneth M. Waterman and waived his right to a jury trial. A date lias been set for November 5 at 9 a m. He faces a prison term of two to four years and a fine of up to SIO,OOO if he is found guilty and convicted. A Milford defendent, booked in the August bust, requested pauper counsel. John P. Geberin was appointed to represent Johnie R. Dove. 23, Milford. Dove is charged with possession of marijuana a Class D felony. Arraignment for him was con tinued. Truck backs into car Troy M. Webb, 16. r 1 box 232 Syracuse, operating an International truck, backed into a 1977 Chrysler being driven by Owen N. Lentz, 77, r 1 box 634 Syracuse. The accident occurred on Thursday, Sept. 13, at 4:40 p.m., aLthe intersection of SR 13 and CR 530E. Webb, pulling a trailer, was stopped for a stop sign on CR 530E and Lentz was stopped behind him. Webb backed up due to traffic on SR 13 and hit the Lentz Auto. Lentz did not realize that Webb was backing up because the lights on the back of the trailer were not hooked up. Estimated damage to the Lentz car was $375 and S2O to the Webb vehicle. Car overturns, Milford man escapes injury A Milford man escaped injury when his car skidded 225 feet and overturned several times after failing to stop at a rural intersection. Larry A. Deter, 28. failed to stop at the T intersection of Milford Junction Road and CR 1350 N Tuesday, Sept. 18. at 9:17 p.m. Deter’s car skidded and overturned when he attempted to round the corner. Damage to the Deter car is estimated to be SBOO. The county road sign was also damaged.

1 Q k 'L 9 | I rIBB ** ■■ SB-la I OPEN HOUSE — The Turkey Creek Conservation Club invites the public to attend its third annual open house at the clubhouse on Saturday, Sept. 22. in recognition of National Hunting and Fishing Day. The open house will begin at 2 p.m. and continue throughout the day with a guest speaker, Charlie Parks. Indiana Conservation Officer, giving his fur trapping presentation at 7:30 p.m. Exhibits consisting of a display of firearms, fishing equipment. Indiana Conservation Council, a taxidermist, the fur takers, club projects and waterfowl and decoy displays will be on hand. Compound, target and hunting bows and antique firearms will comprise the bow and gun display . Several members of the Stone’s Trace regulators will demonstrate the mechanics of muzzleloading and actual scheduled firings will take place in the afternoon. Archery and fishing demonstrations will also lake place during the open house along with duck calling. Hunter safety instructors will be present to register those interested in fall classes. An ongoing wildlife slide presentation will be available for all to view. Refreshments will he sold in the kitchen. A drawing will take place after the evening speaker, featuring a Remington 870 shotgun and custom built rod and reel by Tackle Specialties. There will also be an auction of four limited edition wildlife prints by Sonny Bayshore. Club members and the general public are invited to attend and take part in this event.
