program to the schools is the Warsaw Youth for Christ. This multi-image show will be shown to 15 area schools September 1220. In the area, nine high schools and six junior high schools will see the program and Jerry Landrum, YFC director, estimates that audience to be over 8,500 students. Some area schools have seen similar presentations in the past several years. The Film In the process of discovering and developing talents, people often draw inspiration from the champions around them The times people compare their success to others can leave them greatly discouraged and feeling terribly inadequate or afraid — afraid of more failure and rejection. “Champions" centers
the idea that people get about missions and money. According to Mrs. John (Nancy) Glon. Sr., Syracuse, one of the committee members, said that the church in Syracuse will be trying to find out more about the Indonesian mission as people, a nation, parish and country Syracuse in turn will send the same kind of information tiTlhe mission. She stated Saint Martin’s has limited good and charishable works to their own parish and will be taking it further than "our church and town." She also mentioned that this project is unique because the diocese Saint Martin is the only one doing this project and there are other parishes in the diocese also doing this type of project.

on those who are striving to accomplish and yet constantly having to overcome the major hurdle to success: Ourselves. Everyone is a dreamer, wishing for fantastic victories in love and life. Heroes look like they’re living peoples’ dreams, seeming to do the impossible while others may be failing to do even the normal Comparing others, one can come to fear he may never be adequate to meet life’s challenges. This fear cripples and makes; it easy for all to "project” every striving as ending in disaster. Individuals don t have to be controlled by a fear of losing or fear of rejection. People can make different choices. Each time someone takes on a new challenge, he car see the suc-
The mission they will be coresponding with will be Saint Mary of the Assumption Parish, Erma Sawa, Indonesia. cess or failure as a current “testing” of the limits and abilities. Losing isn’t permanent — one can choose to always be inadequate or choose to see small victories as signs of one’s abilities. Determination is crucial to discovering and developing abilities. Often, though, people just try and take the easy way out, looking for an “instant success” route to achieving adequacy. Peoples’ failures there give them the opportunity to continue practicing determination. People must choose to accomplish and not let anything block them from it. even if they can’t see for themselves as whole or adequate yet (or ever). A person needs to see that all one’s work to conquer his limits can be exciting and worth it all. People should welcome all trials, tests and people they face as chances to strengthen the weak spots, knowing that, if they keep the determination strong, the chances to succeed will come. In the case of people, the strengths of other people can lead someone into improvement. People should surround themselves with others who are stronger than they in their week areas — complimentary to them. As a person looks for others who can support them and lead them they often look to romantic relationships, where they hope to find the special acceptance and encouragement that will make them more adequate to face life. Even beyond these relationships, many in our society have found a personal faith that brings an inner strength and hope that promotes “adequacy" and positive thinking. Drawing confidence from the belief in oneself — that one does have some ability and talent —

grace of God, we live in a land governed by a good set of laws which themselves can be changed, along with any administration that refuses to abide by them. Since one of them allows you to choose the Church you wish to attend, you should go there and give your thanks to God for your Constitution which gives you this right; and always defend those who would make use of its very provisions to destroy it.

Supportive to that is the strength others provide when people learn from successful people around them and let their strengths lift their weaknesses.
