THE MILFORD Emergency Medical Service members have added new equipment to their service — green lights. So, if at some time you see a car with a flashing green light, is is one of Milford’s friendly EMTs responding to an emergency. It is hoped that the green lights will help speed the response time to emergencies and everyone is asked to respect and give the right-of-way when necessary. EMTs have difficulties, especially at intersections, at SR 15 and going through town. Please remember the Milford EMTs are trying their best to give the citizens of Our Town the best emergency services possible. —o— AND SPEAKING of the EMTs, a basic class will be starting in September at the Goshen Hospital with another class in February. The Milford unit is always looking for new members. Persons who are interested in becoming EMTs or drivers should contact John Perry at the drugstore. ■ -o— DO YOU know what upper crust is? Ron had already run 16*2 miles when the duo started for home. —o— WE RE INDEBTED to Jerry Graff for a May 24 issue of the Star Herald, an Englishspeaking newspaper published in Panama. It’s a six- and eightcolumn paper with virtually no display advertising and a few classified ads, but long on world news. Jerry has been stationed in Panama for a number of years, is the son of Al Graff of Milford. We are frequent recipients of far-away newspapers of this type and are always thankful that former residents remember us. And, the siding is really a marked improvement to the church as church members continue their efforts to remodel the old factory building and turn' it into a beautiful church to worship in. —o—- — BIRTHDAY to Bob Greenwood and Eric Beer who share an August 16 birthdate.
