Susan Overholser injured, cited Susan E. Overholser, 23, r 2 Syracuse, was injured in a carvan collision at US 6 and SR 13 north of Syracuse early last Friday. She was taken to Goshen Hospital for treatment of multiple bruises and a right ankle sprain. Also injured was the other driver, Michael E. Ostrander, 26<» r 3 Ligonier, who had multiple bruises and contusions of the left arm and leg. He was also taken to Goshen Hospital. Elkhart County sheriff’s officer said Susan Overholser, driver of a 1973 Ford, was northbound on SR 13, stopped for US 6, then drove into the westbound Ostrander 1965 Chevrolet van, resulting in more than $2,500 damage. She was cited for failure to yield of right of way. The first woman dental school graduate was Lucy Hobbs Taylor, who first practiced in 1861. .
