QUEEN CANDIDATE — Nannette Dipert. 17, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jon Dipert, r 2 box 214-A Syracuse, a freshman of Parkview School of Nursing, is being sponsored by Eoo and Eave’s Cantohese Restaurant in Syracuse for the "Queen of Lakes” contest. She has light brown hair and blue eyes, if five feet, six inches tall and weighs 115 pounds. The candidate enjoys sailing, sinking, acting and plays the guitar and flute.

Michael Wooten injured in cycle accident

Michael Wooten. 22. Syracuse, was treated for abrasions to his arms, hands and shoulders, following a motorcycle accident southeast of Benton on CR 33 south of CR 146 ‘on Thursday. June 21.
