Beverly Milner Word has been received by Milford relatives that Beverly (Osborn) Milner, 46, who resided with her husband, Charles Milner, in Springfield, 111., took her own life last week. Surviving other than her husband, Charles, are, one son. David and her mother, Mrs. Viola (Kropf) Osborn of Cissna Park, 111. Services were held Monday, June 18, in Springfield, 111. No further information is available. Patricia Neuman Mrs. Walter W. (Patricia A.) Neuman, 55, 6711 Casino Drive, Fort Wayne, daughter of Mrs. Lavone Wimmer, Leesburg, died Monday, June 18, at 2:32 p.m. in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. Hunter Sept. 9, 1891 —June 17, 1979 Mrs. Homer (Vera) Hiner, 87, r 1 North Webster, died on Sunday, June 17, at 6:20 p.m., at the South Bend Nursing Home in South Bend. She had been ill since May 17. She was born in Kosciusko County on September 9. 1891. daughter to Joseph and Sarah Ann (Kiser) Stoner. She lived in Kosciusko County most of her life. On March 19, 1916, she married Homer F. Hiner. He preceded her in death on November 29,1978. Mrs. Hiner had been a housewife and a member of the North Webster United Methodist Church. She also belonged to the United Methodist Church in Kissimee, Fla. Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Ray (Fay) Estes, .South Bend; one son, Donald, North Webster; five grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren. Services were held today, Wednesday, June 20, in the Harris Funeral Home, Syracuse, at 10:30 a m. Rev. O. Rex Lindemood officiated and interment was at North Webster cemetery. She had been living at the home since March 2, 1979, and had been failing in health for the last five years. She was born in Milford, August 3, 1904, daughter to Clifford E. and Jeanette 1 Sumpter) Martin. She married Arden B Martin on January 10, 1921. He preceded her in death in September 13,1976. (Ferguson) Miller, 22, 613 N. Park St.. Warsaw, died Tuesday in the Parkview Hospital' at Fort Wayne from injuries recieved Sunday, June 10, in a car-train accident south of Milford. The Miller woman had suffered multiple injuries, including a skull fracture, when her 1973 Datsun was struck by a southbound Conrail train and shoved down the tracks for approximately 1,000 feet Passengers in the Miller auto, Florene Ferguson, 48, Pamela's mother, also living at the same address; and a sister, Lana Ferguson, 17, were both taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw with injuries suffered in the crash.

Jill Stanley speaks to Kiwanis Club Jill Stanley, the new director of the Lakeland Youth Center, spoke to the Wawasee Kiwanis Club at a Saturday morning meeting recently. She graduated from Ball State University and Has a masters from Indiana University. She has also taught at various educational institutions in the area. Miss Stanley comes to Syracuse with ideas and goals for the center. Among the things she would like to see included in the program are Walt Disney film series, rope jumping, perceptual motor program, an adult softball league, and other miscellaneous programs. She is especially open to any other programs that may interest people. One of the many community projects supported by the Wawasee Kiwanis Club is the Youth Center through financial and moral donations. Milford men s injured in car-truck crash Gerald D. Working. 18, 1012 East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw, driving a truck, collided with a car operated by Morris W. Wolferman, 43. Milford, at the intersection of U.S. 30 and CR 200N at 11:50 a.m., Monday, June 18. Wolferman was treated for cuts on his forehead and right leg at Kosciusko Community Hospital. A passenger in his car, John Wolferman, 80, Milford, was admitted to KCH complaining of pains, he was listed in fair condition. Damage estimate to Wolferman’s car was $3,000 and S9OO damage to Working’s truck. JESUS MARINEZ BOOKED AT JAIL Jesus M. Marinez, 26, 311 Fourth Street, Milford, was booked early Friday morning on a charge of public intoxication. No bond was set.

Syracusean charged with child molesting
Robert George Linto, 35, 425 North Huntington St.. was arrested by Syracuse Police on Friday, June 15, and booked in the Kosciusko County Jail. Linto is charged with child molesting and is being held on $5,000 bond. Syracuse police learned of the
