Fulp is the new pastor for the Milford United Methodist Church. In the front are Mrs. Fulp, Scott and Rev. Fulp. Standing in the back are Julie and Bill. Rev. Fulp was appointed to the Milford church by the Methodist Bishop of the Indiana area. He has been a pastor for 11 years in three other churches. also stated the neighbors and church members he has met are friendly and warm. Rev. Fulp came to Milford from a one year associate pastorship in the First United Methodist Church at Bluffton. Rev. Fulp and his wife, Diane,

officially moved into the church parsonage on June 4 and his first Sunday at Milford was June 10. They have three children, Bill, nine; Julie, seven; and Scott, four. He has been a pastor for 11 years and was pastor at Herbst United Methodist Church for five years and Craigville United Methodist Church for four years. Fulp graduated from Crawfordsville High School and attended Marion College, Marion In 1974 he graduated from United Theological Seminary, Dayton. Ohio. His main interests is bicycling and other outdoors sports and athletics. He also' enjoys refinishing furniture. i Goals "I would like to see a resource center for living.” commented Fulp on his goals while in the community. “So people can get handles on daily problems.” A few of the classes or courses he would like to see would be on sexual education, marriage and parenting. He feels these would be a unique contribution to the community and would like to see them started up but stated, “1 don’t feel I can do it with out the support or approval of the church.” His wife. Diane, presently is a housewife and would like to find a job in the fall. She graduated from Mooresville and attended Indiana Central University. Their two oldest children will be participating in T-ball and Little League this summer. Fellowship seen in area softball league

The Area Church Softball League includes churches in Milford, North Webster, Leesburg, Oswego and this year a New Paris church. The league was started in the mid-1960’s with various churches participating According to Steve Replogle, coordinator for the league, the same teams have played the last six to seven years. Besides the competition, fun, exercise and challenge, those on the teams experience a time of fellowship with other church members in the area. A general rule for the league is that prayer is to be held before each game as a group. One other standard rule is that the players must attend the church they play for at least once a month. Other rules for those playing on

Gary Arnold, an advertising executive, examines the problems and pressures a businessman faces in making the Word a vital part of his everyday life. What part does the Bible play in business problems and decisions? According to Gary, it plays a very vital part. Often a businessman is faced with situations where he could go one of several ways—and his motives determine just which way he will go. Is he inspired by selfish gain or by the best interests of his clients and prospects? By relying on the Word he can be led in the right direction.
