Christian movies to be shown
Milford has a place where Christian, Movies can be seen! The First Brethren Church is serving as host for films presented by the Milford Christian Cinema Association. Said association was formed two months ago to offer a Christian alternative to other activities on the week end. Instrumental in starting the association are Bryon Ulrich, Larry Speicher, Jack Teeple and Richard Rhodes. The men felt it is away to minister for Christ in the community and offer Christian family entertainment. The movies being shown are of high quality and are obtained through various Christian organizations and companies. Scheduled in the near future are “Distant Thunder” and “A Time To Run.” Pastor Jeff Carroll said the church or Christians shouldn’t have a dull experience and the association is offering an alternative by responding to what is being played at various theaters. Carroll is pastor of the First Brethren Church. The movies are not tied to the First Brethren Church and anyone who is interested is welcome to voice suggestions on film ideas. Pastor Carroll said the association can get about any film that is wanted. The association's members meet once a month to preview films and to make plans for additional films. The association is hoping to have enough people attend these films to move from the church to a larger building, such as the Milford Junior High School gymnasium. Attendance for the first film was estimated at 150 people and for the second it was estimated at 130 people. Films will be shown the first Saturday of the month except June, when it will be later. Movie time is 7:30 pm. with no admission charge. A free will offering is taken to cover the cost of the film rental.’ In July the association is planning a movie especially for children. The movie is presented by the Child Evangelism Fellowship and. according to Pastor Carroll, this film Received a great response when it was shown in Warsaw.

the Lord’s faithfulness” according to Bob Hughey of Nashville. Tennessee. “There are times when I don’t want to hear the 1 Word of the Lord because of my stubbornness and my rebellious nature. There are times when I just don’t want to hear the Word. But I’ll open the Word and read anyway. You just have to come back to the place that God is faithful. . . He is going to complete the work that He has started in us. You know, that’s what has made a difference in my life. That’s what is making a difference in my life.”

lOLur educational system is designed to teach us the essential skills of life. It not only adapts itself to an ever-changing world but also equips us to do our share of bringing about the changes. We go to school for a certain number of years; then graduate and step out into the world, armed with the know-how from which all our material progress is born. However, there is another kind of school from which we never graduate; and the principles of character that we learn, first in Sunday school and then in Church, never change; but will always be adaptable to any current conditions, as they have been since the beginning of time. Enroll now at the Church of your choice, and learn the most important lessons of your life.

Mothers, daughters honored Tuesday
The annual mother-daughter salad bar was held in the fellowship hall of the Milford Christian Church last night iTuesday> with the men of the church serving the beverages and cleaning up after the meal ■JBibieh Facts/ To those who are dissatisfied or oppressed by the circumstances under which they live, the Bible has some? thing important to say: It tells that you can take the bruises, like the bounty, with contentment when you know the living Christ. Jesus Christ is alive—not just in memory or devotion, the Bible tells us. Experiencing His living presence produces a new' kind ol personality with contentment at its core. No matter what your circumstances, you can have it for yourself, for “God will supply all that you need from His glorious resources in Christ Jesus.” (Phillipians 4:19).
