him n i I Wf ' h B / ■ | y\ r*& The photo with this column shows some of the auction items sold on Saturday, two Lions who helped with the display and a very tired young lady. Kyla Woiferman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wolferman of west of Milford, found this chair comfortable and curled up in it with her new friend, purchased by her father earlier in the auction, for an afternoon nap. When they moVed the chair and took this photo, she opened her eyes and a short time later left the chair. Sunday morning was barbecue time and the rain didn’t dampen the spirits of the firemen. They simply moved their trucks out of the south bay, put on their raincoats and directed traffic through the fire station where persons could get their chicken without having to get out of their cars. A total of 1,200 halves of chicken were sold!

IF YOU tried to make a long distance telephone call last Wednesday and couldn’t getthrough it was because a cable was cut south of Milford. —O’MRS. THOMAS (Oleta)-Chalk of Our Town has been named honor employee for March at Goshen Die Cutting, Inc., where she has worked since April of 1976.
