Rather frequently the question arises as to how large a deposit a buyer should put down or, to put it another way, how much deposit should the seller reasonably require. The deposit should be sufficient to make sure the buyer will have good reason to see the transaction through and to reimburse the seller for taking the property off the market and other incidental expenses in case the buyer defaults. Mrs. Myrtle Rassi and friend of South Bend spent the week end with her mother, Mrs. Martha Misner. Fire report for March The Syracuse Fire Department answered five fire calls during the month of March, Two of the calls were in the township and three were in town. In those five calls 325 gallons of water were used and a total of 2' 2 hours were spent at the fires. The average time spent per call was 30 minutes. There was an estimated total damage of $175 in the fires.
