The money was from the property tax replacement fund, PTRF board chairman and revenue commissioner Donald H. Clark said. The 92 counties of Indiana received $20,394,479.67. Clark explained the law requires the state to distribuite the funds by May 1 and November 1 of each year t but the board authorizes early distribution to aide the counties. An identical advancement on the spring distribution was made last month. The PTR fund is composed of one-half the state sales tax collections. It is dedicated to providing 20 per cent property tax relief to Indiana property taxpayers. The truth hurts people who don't like to face facts. Never expect good luck to make up for loafing- .
