dianas, Arizona and the Jews in California. Every year in May the Wawasee Heights Baptist Church holds a missionary conference. At that time the missonaries they sponsor come ard give a report and this is a time when they also hear new missionaries who plan to go into the field. Also at this time is when members make a “faith promise” for money for the missions. This money when given is placed in the mission treasury for Mrs. Neer’s use. This is her third year as mission treasurer and feels it is “so important, that we should be busy in the Lord’s service and I enjoy every minute of it.” She was nominated by the congregation for this yearly term when the electicn of church officers were held. So in general her only responsibilty is to basically make sure the monthly checks go to the r proper places for the mission work. The Neer family started , attending the Wawasee Heights Baptist Church when it was first started and is one of the few families who are charter members.
