■L >■ VISIT THIRD GRADE — Dr. Stephen Hunt and assistants visited the third grade classes of Mrs. Mahnensmith and Mrs. Hite of Syracuse Elementary School on February 20th. Dr. Hunt presented slides and dental equipment to demonstrate the proper care of teeth. His visit correlated with a unit on teeth and their care.

Audubon society plans visit to Kiwanis Park

On March 4 members and friends of the Tippecanoe Audubon Society will visit the Kiwanis Park area in Warsaw They will hike the island in Winona Lake, which has been designated as a Warsaw, School Outdoor Lab Participants should meet at the parking lot of the Counting House Bank Mall at 1:45 pm Bill Benneman, head of the biology department of Warsaw Milford woman suffers injuries Manuela Peters, 29, r 2 Milford, suffered neck and shoulder injuries in an accident at 12:20a.m. Saturday on SR 15. two miles north of Warsaw. Peters was admitted to Kosciusko Community Hospital with a possible clavical injury, shoulder pain and complaints of neck pain. She was released Sunday. Peters was a passenger in a car driven by Velia M. Power, 22. of Milford, power's car was southbound on SR 15, when it began to slide on a curve crossing the centerline and striking a bridge abutment. The Power’s 1974-model car was damaged $2,000.
