Glons serve on parish board “It’s a continuing renewal of your faith.” So says John and Nancy Glon, of their duties as members of the parish board at Saint Martin de Porres Catholic Church, Syracuse. As parish board members, the Syracuse couple help in the deciding of important matters related to the church. The Glons have been members of the board for the past five years. Also serving on the board are: Tom List, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Gans, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Taylor plus Father Kenneth Sarrazine. Glon commented, “It started as a social thing. We each had our own services and made separate lists. Then we met for breakfast. Then we started meeting on a regular basis." The board has kept the same membership since its beginning. Glon said the board has been considering adding new members.
