1 YEAR AGO. FEB. 15,1978 Syracuse town offices are now located at 500 S. Huntington street. Town board president David Nine said the move to new quarters was made last Wednesday and Thursday. Located there are the town clerk s offices, the township trustee’s office, the police department and the Kosciusko County Area Plan Commission representative’s office. The Wawasee wrestling team under coach Terry Frank became the first boys team ever at Wawasee High School to win a regional crown. They capped off their fine 9-1 season with the East Noble Sectional championship a week ago and this past Saturday put together a fine team effort to capture the Fort Wayne North Regional. Jennifer Cox and Mark Smith were united in marriage December 29, 1977 in a double ring ceremony performed by Rev. Phillip Frew in Saint Andrew’s United Methodist Church in Syracuse.
