Edward Napier might have once been a name that didn’t sound familiar to many people in the Syracuse area. But, after last Tuesday, when his efforts helped apprehend two suspected bank robbers at the Syracuse Village Branch by using his citizen’s band radio, his name has achieved its own fame. confined to home premises as many complaints have been lodged on dogs running loose. There is a town ordinance on dogs running loose and carries a $25 fine. Newly elected officers of the Lakeland Youth Center are Mrs. Douglas Schmahl, treasurer; Robert Spearman, vice president; Harry Lemberg, president; and Mrs. John Cripe, secretary. Jerry Ganshorn was elected president of the SyracuseWawasee Chamber of Commerce, at a meeting held last Thursday. The Yellow Jackets won the seventh grade tournament on January 26.

Receives minor injuries in collision near Milford
A Goshen woman, who was a passenger in a car operated by Theodore Cook, 75, of r 2 Syracuse, sustained minor injuries in a two-car collision Friday night about one mile east of Milford. Johanna Crawford, 19, 305 Third Street, Goshen, was treated and released from Kosciusko Community Hospital for a bump to the head sustained in the mishap at 9;40 p.m. Investigating officers reported the Crawford woman was a passenger in a 1974 model car Senior Citizens to meet February 11 The Milford Senior Citizens will be meeting in the Milford Fire Station on Sunday, Feb. 11, if the weather is permitting.
