14 YEARS AGO. FEB. 4.1965 Mr. and Mrs. Jack Heckman of Milford and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Heckman of New Paris attended the midget races Sunday afternoon at the Fort Wayne coliseum. They observed Mr. Heckman’s birthday. In the evening they called at the Veterans’ hospital and visited James Clayton. Mr. and Mrs. U. R. Bauer. Webster youth arrested in Warsaw vandalisms

One adult from Warsaw and three youths, including a 17-year-old youth from North Webster, face a series of charges in connection with a rash of window breaking episodes in Warsaw in December. Terry Perry. 19, r 7 Warsaw, was booked in the county jail at Warsaw on a charge of criminal mischief, and the case has been transferred from county court to Kosciusko Superior Court. The Webster youth was charged with criminal mischief and released to the custody of parents. A 17-year-old rural Warsaw youth was charged with criminal mischief and a 16-year-old Lake Sharon youth was charged - with the same, with both released on their own recognizance. their part in breaking of 55 windows of homes and businesses on December 21-22 with pellets from BBguns. Four pistols and a round of the small pellets were purchased at a store in Warsaw and the young men reportedly aimed and fired the BB guns at random on December 21 on Winona Avenue, continuing on to Lake Village Sporting Center and Center Lake pavilion for shooting of several lights. Two of the youths made a shooting run through the city on December 22, including * residential windows. Warsaw City Police Detective Sergeant Sarnie Brown solved the case, and confiscated a BB 'pistol from one of the suspects. Police are continuing to probe several other incidents occurring December 23 and 24 where rocks were hurled through windows of several south side businesses.
