When affixing the beard, be sure to place the elastic strap over the top of the head, not behind the ears and across the back of the head. After the beard is in place, the wig can be put on over it. To wash synthetic wig and whisker sets,, use lukewarm water and any household soap or detergent. After rinsing, wring out the excess water and put on a hat block or a form resembling the human head. Use a wide-tooth comb and loosely comb hair while still moist. Then brush gently for smoothness. The wig can now be set with curlers or bobby pins: do not use curling irons or chemical cleaners. When completely dry, remove curlers and gently comb and brush the hair.
